Play Therapy,
Play Positively!
Play therapy is a specifically designed therapeutic approach to help children prevent or resolve psychological difficulties. Young children have not yet fully developed their ability to recognize, understand and express emotion and thoughts. Play is a natural language of children to deal with their internal world. Play therapy is evidently proven to deliver greater effect than non-play interventions for children across age, gender and presenting issues (Bratton, Ray, Rhine & Jones, 2005).
